From the humble beginnings of our founder as a calendar publisher in 1985, to the current multi-million dollar, multi-location, nationwide commercial printing and calendar publishing business, our goal remains the same. To fulfill the needs of our customers. In doing so, we always strive to go a step further in meeting their needs no matter how difficult they might be. Our current success is due to the enormous support from our customers. We are forever grateful for their continuous patronage.
In 2004, our tradition of pursuing technologies to better serve our customers continued with our purchase of the CTP system - Agfa Xcalibur. With this Computer to Plate System, we are able to process digital files faster, thus shortening the prepress process. This enables us to meet your urgent deadlines.
Our tradition continues in 2005 with the acquisition of Standard Horizon's Stitchliner 5500. This new concept in booklet production merges the simplicity of flat sheet collating with the high productivity and quality finish of saddle stitching and three knife trimming.
As more and more jobs require faster turnaround, we have invested in Xerox digital press in 2006 for the jobs with the deadline of yesterday. With the implementation of digital press, we are now able to offer broader services to our clients including variable data printing, extreme short-runs, and personalized calendars.
Furthermore we switched to state of the art Agfa Azura plate with replacement of Xcalibur to Avalon which provides the high quality imaging associated with a thermal system, without chemical processing. Elimination of chemistry removes all process variables and simplifies platemaking, giving clear, consistent results, and more importantly produce no harm to our precious environment.
2007 will be remembered as the year we leaped with the move to new 30,000 sq / ft facility expansion in Garden City, Long Island, 30 minutes away from our previous College Point location along with the addition of our brand new 6 color press with inline coater with UV / Conventional Hybrid Technology from KBA. The new KBA Rapida 105 is the world's fastest printing press with the printing speed up to 18,000 sheet / hr.
Now we have completed our move, we look forward to serve you with broader variety of printing media, even faster turnaround, better workflow management, higher and more consistent image quality, and finally with various finishing options such as UV and Aqueous coating.
